Step into the depths of a primeval forest untouched, wild, and alive with sonic texture. This is a cinematic and immersive journey into one of nature’s most ancient landscapes. In this first part of Episode 5, I walk deep into the woods to record the flowing river, rare insect calls, and natural ambience using professional field gear including a Zoom H4 Essential and Clippy microphones. No talking. No music. Just pure, real-time nature captured as it happened.
Watch PART 1 Sounds of a Primeval Forest
The second half of this immersive journey dives deeper into the untouched rhythms of the primeval forest. As I follow the winding forest path carved out by animals, I encounter a deer in the wild and enter a part of the forest alive with birdsong and motion. Further in, I explore a ravine where I capture additional river recordings each sound shaped by the land itself. This is a cinematic, slow moving exploration. Every sound is recorded using the Zoom H4 Essential and Clippy microphones. Which I will later use for my music and a Sound library that will be available on my website.
