Join me on another quiet journey into the forest as I listen, observe, and capture raw, organic sounds using professional field recording gear. This episode features a new omnidirectional mic setup using Clippy microphones, placed to naturally capture the forest's immersive acoustic textures like birds, wind, leaves, insects, and space. I’m often joined on these walks by my dog, who quietly explores beside me. You may spot him in a few frames always present, always listening. The Sound Hunt is a long form, silent ambient series designed to offer rest, presence, and a return to the natural rhythm of things. While it’s not traditional ASMR, the subtle sounds and visual pacing may bring a similar sense of calm and grounding.
