Launching an inflatable kayak onto the Biebrza River with a hull packed full of audio gear changes how you navigate. Out here, speed isn't the goal listening is.

The plan was simple drift quietly, track the changing water, and record the wilderness as it happens. Between the reeds and quiet river bends, the marshes open up into completely uninterrupted environments.

I spent days drifting silently, capturing the unique soundscapes of the riverbank ,twilight bird calls, gentle water currents and the stillness of early morning mist.

High quality recordings take patience, but paddling deep into the wetlands made every drop rig worth setting. Audio from the expedition coming soon.
